You do not need anyone's permission to go after your DREAMS!
May 11, 2020You do not need anyone's permission to go after your DREAMS!
Are you a nurse and feeling stuck? Are you feeling stagnant in your career?
I know that the night before you have to work, you are saying things like... I don't want to go to my job, I wish I didn't have to work, I hope they call me off, right? Do these sayings sound familiar?
I know that I have said them and do still say them. I'm working on this.
Guess what? YOU have the formula for success in your career and life. I bet you are thinking yeah right Nancy, I don't have the formula for success. But YOU do.
Ask yourself these questions:
What do I want?
Why don't I have it yet?
You are either at the cause or the effect of your success. And to be successful, you will want to be the cause of it.
The cause = results. The (effect)reasons= why you don't have results.
You want to move closer to the cause to be successful.
What is the area of your life that you don't want? That is living in effect.
When you recognize the cause and take action that is when we are then are in charge of our results.
You need to get yourself out of the stagnant zone or the gray zone ASAP to make things happen.
You will get what you focus on. It is time to focus on what you want.
So what is your greatest talent? Do you want to create an online business, blog, courses and become your own boss.
What is your DREAM? Going after your dream can become scary and uncomfortable. I know this from experience. But taking action steps to go after what you want with tangible goals with an outcome date will get you to the DREAM so much faster.
Know what you want. Can you see it, feel it, and hear it? This is ringing true to me right now as I am off of working my nursing job due to the COVID 19 and being furloughed. I am seeing what I want in my life. I am feeling the freedom that I want. I am being able to be creative again in my life and I don't want this feeling to end when I go back to my job on May 18th.
Taking action is the first step. You have to do the work.
Pay attention to your results. Be willing to receive feedback (get a mentor/coach). Look at what is working or not working in your action steps.
Be willing to change and have flexibility.
Always focus on excellence in everything that you do for your business.
Always live your life with gratitude and integrity in your business.
So tell me what is your DREAM? Mine is below.
My DREAM is to be working full time from my home being a nurse business coach so that I can enjoy time freedom with my family and be financially free on track to be making $100k a year by August 2020.
If you are experiencing burnout in your nursing job, know that you are NOT alone and it is not too late to go after your DREAM! Don't let the effect stop you.
P.S. You can still work your nursing job and go after your DREAM.
xoxo,
Nancy
